Education
Mary received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Trent University and supplemented her education with intense clinical training in a wide range of stress and trauma-related therapies. These include NLP, TFT, EFT, Matrix, Cognitive-Behavioral, Critical Incident Reduction, Metapsychology TIR (Traumatic Incident Reduction), LSR (Life Stress Reduction), Advanced TIR training, Life Schema coaching and more.

Previous work experience
Along with her late husband, a Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist, Mary has worked with a diverse population in Durham/Northumberland, running a successful private practice since 1983. For more than 15 years, they wrote weekly columns for newspapers in the region. Currently, Mary has expanded her practice to include training therapists in the use of Traumatic Incident Reduction.
